Our young adult Trades Orientation Program (TOP) is an 130-hour introductory class , preparing young adults for career opportunities in over 30+ trade options including interviews with industry employers.

THE HART FOUNDATION 'S Wrap around services for the Elderly include:
The Trades Orientation Program is a readiness-pre-apprenticeship course based on the nationally recognized Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3), followed by up to one year of individualized job search training and application support.
The Hart Foundation Supportive Housing Program will provide resources toward Safe, Stable, and affordable housing options while in collaboration with community partners on all aspects of Housing Instability.
The Skills and Training Achieve for tomorrow (START) This program is governed by DPSS as we work together in our community The Gold is obtain employment and achieving self-sufficciency

The Hart Foundation is a Non- Profit 501 (c)(3) organization designed to provide Supportive Services for the Elderly in need of assistance with Housing and their Daily Living.
The Foundation also support The Youth Circle of Life program, which provides Training, Resources and Employment services; thus promoting housing stability and financial independence for our youth.
To build and Re-build lives for both the young and old
The Circle of Life Youth Empowerment Program is in collaboration with Chapter T.W.O which is an At-Risk youth program, The Khalfan Foundation for Education, The Carpenter's Trades Union and a host of other community organization's.
The common goal is assisting our young adults with the tools needed to be productive members of society
Bernard Hart jr. Co- Founder / Executive Director of The Harts Foundation At-Risk Youth Program, with responsibilities for activities in General Construction Training and Development. Bernard would have governed and provided support for overall programs management in the areas of program operations, contract monitoring and reporting, evaluation, staff supervision, team building, personnel administration, public relations, fundraising, and administrative operations.
Programs include but are not limited to: Educational Pathways & Vocational Opportunities, Gang Intervention, Health Ambassador, and Re-entry Intensive Case Management Services. Bernard also oversees the Foundation’s expansion efforts towards Pre- Apprenticeship programs including HVAC systems, and Electrical.
In his previous role with 4Harts Construction, he served as General Foreman. He was responsible for overseeing daily operations at the worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. His duties include hiring Construction Workers and trade professionals to perform specific tasks, monitoring budgeting expenses for Workers, supplies or tools and reviewing laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Before starting his own business, 4Harts Construction Bernard worked for Expert Drywall Systems. As a Drywall Finisher, Bernard duties include sealing joints, repairing cracks, and smoothing imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment.
Working on several projects over the course of thirty years, Bernard attributes this, what would be the foundation of his legacy to his parents, Bernard Sr. and Constance Hart.
As a youth Bernard began his construction career working with his father on the family’s rental properties, during that time in his life it was just a chore he had to do, He dreaded the clean-up, However as the years passed Bernard took charge of the clean-up and repairs of the rental properties. During his early twenties started working with his mother at General Hospital took on the role as an Orderly which is a healthcare worker who is responsible for providing support to medical staff and ensuring that the healthcare facility operates smoothly, Bernard was often responsible for tasks such as preparing and transporting patients for medical procedures, restocking medical supplies, and keeping patient areas clean and organized.
This is where he began to care for and take on a responsible role for others and their needs.
